I spend a lot of my time trying to understand why things work the way they do—products, systems, businesses, and sometimes people. Design happens to be the medium through which I explore those questions.
Over the years, I've found myself drawn less to pixels and more to the thinking behind them. I enjoy untangling complexity, finding patterns, and creating clarity where things feel overwhelming. Whether I'm designing a product, building a system, or planning a trip, my instinct is usually the same: understand the whole picture before deciding what to change.
When I'm not working, you'll probably find me travelling, chasing local food recommendations, reading non-fiction, studying about technology and design, or taking far too many photos of places I've just discovered. Recently, after wrapping up my chapter at Hy-Vee, I gave myself some breathing room—spent time reflecting on the work I'd done, travelled through Malaysia and Singapore, explored unfamiliar streets and great food, and started building this portfolio you've landed on. I've also been finally learning Framer properly, something I'd postponed for far too long. It's been a nice reminder that sometimes the best way to move forward is to slow down for a moment and stay curious.

My Philosophy

01
Curiosity first
I rarely accept "that's how it's always been done" as an answer.

02
Systems over screens
The interface is usually the visible part of a much larger problem.

03
Simplicity takes work
Making something look simple is easy. Making it actually simple is harder.

04
People before process
The best systems support people, not the other way around.
